The CLL language center is an institute founded in 1984 by the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL°, one of the most prestigious and oldest university in Europe. It is specialized in teaching foreign languages and offers several options to French courses for foreigners as well as an attractive cultural activities programme. The CLL is located in a modern building dating from 2005, on the university campus of UCL Brussels, next to all the services intended for students and 15 mn away from the centre of Brussels thanks to the underground.
This language school favours an oral and interactive teaching approach. To work on the assumption that a language training can be truly efficient only if it is motivated by a real desire to learn, the CLL aims at each student becoming the main actor of his/her training.
A complete level test is suggested on the first day of each course. You are nevertheless asked to do a preliminary test on line, once you have registered.

Registration to the course includes two free cultural activities per month, to allow you to discover Brussels and its surroundings. Here are some examples of visits : Horta and the New Art, the St Guidon area, the Belgian Centre of the comic-strip, the African Museum of Tervuren, the Marolles and the Sablon, Brussels, headquarter of the European institutions, the city of Leuven. Other activities and a more complete cultural programme are also available with an extra fee to share the costs.
