Dublin
  Ireland
Dublin, capital of Ireland, is divided in two by the Liffey river and surrounded by mountains in the north as well as in the south. Viking city, Celtic city, Georgian city, Dublin is all that at the same time, a very charming place, which requires that you have time to go for a walk, in a leisurely way, to stop and admire the picturesque ornaments of its houses and its streets and to take part in the life of its inhabitants. In Dublin people want to be together, to share time, to know each other; and you will be encouraged to communicate and you will then learn English more easily. Extraordinarily contrasted, Dublin is a family city as well as a night bird, old and modern, with a great cultural richness but without being pretentious... The atmosphere of a big village prevails here. A particularly remarkable aspect of Dublin is its impressive literary tradition: Oscar Wilde, Jonathan Swift, Samuel Beckett, Bram Stocker, Bernard Shaw, Yeats, Seamus Heaney, James Joyce, to cite only some of them. You really must not miss the museum of the writers, located in an old renovated Georgian house. It is a pleasure. Architecture- and art lovers will be overwhelmed. But we are especially attracted by the atmosphere of Dublin: musicians in the streets, its flowery places, its pubs where you can drink sublime Guinness, its bright colours, strongly contrasting with the grey of the stones, and its cordial inhabitants. Studying English in Dublin will be a very pleasant experience!

CES Ireland
Dublin Centre of English Studies is a language school created in 1979 to teach English to foreign students. It is located in two buildings : the first at 31 Dame Street is a charming edifice made of red bricks from the beginning of the 19th century, which takes in the school office as well as 8 quiet and bright classrooms; the second situated in Dame Court , at a one-minute walk, is a much larger and more modern building, it was especially built to contain broad and fully equipped classrooms. These two buildings are located right in the centre of Dublin, next to shops, bars and restaurants as well as the city’s main tourist interests. Dublin CES is a school which has built its reputation on the quality of its welcome and it pays great attention to each student.

The Centre of English Studies’ experience and know-how are accredited by the following members : Relsa (Recognised English Language Schools Association), FIYTO (Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations), ALTO (Association of Language Travel Organisations) and EAQUALS (The European Association for Quality Language Services).
