Capital of Tuscany (certainly the most beautiful region of Italy) and located on the banks of the Arno, Florence is a jewel of the Renaissance and an absolute must for the enthusiasts of art. And if history is amazingly concentrated in Rome, Florence is a real treatise on history of art. Dante, Donatello, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Giotto, Fra Angelico, Brunelleschi, Raphal, Perugino, Cellini, Ghirlandaio, and so many other Masters have left, to our great delight, their stamp in Florence. It is not a city that you can wander through in a rush. Florence requires days to be visited and studied, days of curiosity. It contains so many and so beautiful artistic treasures that it is necessary to give yourself time to discover them and to enjoy them. Among the most representative places of Florence beauty: the Piazza Del Duomo, with its imposing cathedral, the Baptistery and its famous doors of bronze, the Del Duomo museum, the Piazza della Signoria, the Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, the Pitti Palace, the Boboli gardens, the Ponte Vecchio ('Old Bridge'), the Basilica of Santa Croce, the Piazza San Lorenzo and its basilica, the museum of the Bargello... But Florence is also a city that is good to stroll about, aimlessly, to let oneself go and to disappear in its streets. Lively and quiet at the same time, full of light and noises, it is only disrupted during the summer months, when a too big crowd of tourists overloads it. In spite of this seasonal disadvantage, studying Italian in Florence is nonetheless an unforgettable experience. Discover, below, our Italian school in Florence.
